Seed to plate workshop – An introduction to growing vegetables from seed

We’ll be holding a lunchtime Seed to Plate workshop on 14 March 2024 at 12-1pm in the Manor House.

This event provides a hands-on introduction to vegetable and herb growing by planting a selection of seeds in a propagator that you can take home.

There will be a mix of seeds to choose from;

  • Peashoots
  • Beetroot
  • Lettuce
  • Spinach
  • Chilli
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Chives and other herbs

You will learn about companion planting and succession sowing to get the most from your harvests as well as planting care, transplanting and soils.

This event is open to all.

There is a £21 charge per person to cover costs of materials. We ask that payment is made to Donna Bowles, Estates Manager, ahead of the event (cash payment only).
