New look Manor Café opens its outdoor seating area

Our new look Manor Café has opened its scenic outdoor seating area again to members of the public. We are also offering a takeaway service with collection from our refurbished serving space in a spacious spot in the newly decorated café.

The new look café (which combines the previous restaurant, café and shop) includes changes to the menu, which reflects the new style of service. Orders can be placed through our new online ordering system – or by using our QR code on display at the tables. It is possible to order from the service counter too (card payment only). Customers cannot yet sit down in our newly refurbished indoor seating area, but we are hoping this will be allowed soon.

We are currently offering an order-and-collect service and outdoor eating for breakfast baps, hot and cold lunch food, hot and cold drinks, confectionary and homemade cakes. These can all be ordered and paid for in advance at: https://manorcafeathowbery.touchtakeaway.net/menu or by downloading and using our QR code.

Howbery operations manager Mark Baxter said: “We’re delighted to be able to welcome customers again to our café and to make the most of our wonderful grounds. We are very lucky to have such a large terrace with plenty of space for people to spread out across our outside eating area. Our indoor refurbishment of the service and eating areas was planned with safety in mind, and we are looking forward to being able to offer inside seating again once allowed.

“The Manor Café will of course be complying with the government’s Covid-19 guidelines and we ask customers to observe these at all times. If placing or collecting orders at the indoor counter, we have a newly marked one-way system, entering from the patio seating area.”

More information, including the QR Code, can be found on the amenities page.
