Egg-citing Easter trail cracks open
We are hopping into spring with an Easter-themed trail, and are inviting the local community to join the fun for free.
The park’s popular animal trail returns to ourgrounds for 2026 with a festive twist. All the trail’s resident animals and birds have been given a makeover, and are joined by a special guest: the Easter Bunny himself.
The animals were painted by talented local artists, Nishchay and Neha Tiwari. As his day job, Nishchay works as a research scientist with HR Wallingford, the organisation that owns and manages our park. Meanwhile, Adam Huxley created the wooden animal cut-outs in HR Wallingford’s workshop, using scrap wood left over from building scaled models of coastal developments.
Visitors can explore park from Monday 30 March to Friday 10 April. Free trail maps can be picked up from the Manor Café (between 8.30am-4pm) on working weekdays, but it will be closed over the Easter bank holiday weekend: Friday 3 – Monday 6 April. This free event is open to all, but we ask that children are accompanied.
